HOW TO ORDER

We offer a variety of headsets to suit each customer's needs.

1) What style of headset do they like?

• Monaural (one earpiece) Headband
• Binaural (two earpiece) Headband
• On Ear
• Convertible - both Headband and On Ear in one

Each of the above styles are available in two forms, either a normal headset or in a Noise Cancelling version. Noise Cancelling headsets are beneficial in call centres or noisy office environments.

2) What type of headset do they need?

This depends on the type of phone the headset will be plugged into.

In general, there are two types of phones:

• with a headset port -
  which looks like the ports you connect the telephone line and handset to, but is usually marked with a headset icon; and does not require an amplifier. Soundpro Direct Connect Headsets will usually work on these and with a cord to connect the headset. Plantronics will also work on these but will require the purchase of a cord.

• without a headset port -
  which requires an amplifier or cord.

Please be aware, for some phone models, there may be more than one headset solution.

Headset Features

• Soundpro Direct Connect - a cord is supplied to connect the handset to the phone's headset port.

• Soundpro or Plantronics Headsets - either an amplifier or a cord is required to connect the handset to the phone.

• Quick Disconnect - at the end of the headset cord you will find a long rectangular connection to the curly cord or amplifier. This is the Quick Disconnect. This feature allows you to place a call on hold, separate yourself and move away from your phone without the need to remove your headset.

• Warranties:
  - Soundpro Headsets have 5 year warranties
  - Plantronics Headsets have 2 year warranties
